Jose Mota: Shohei, let's talk about how special tonight was, considering everything that went on and then for you to contribute in a mighty way to start off the ball game?

Will: あの、活躍を振り返ってみて今日はすごいスペシャルな夜になったと思いますけれども、どう思いますか?

[Translation]: Um, looking back at your performance, definitely special night I think, what do you think?

Shohei: ま、一打席目から良かったですし。最後もう一つ仕事をしていい追加点を取れるのも一番良かったですけど、全体的には良かったかなと思います。

[Translation]: From the first at bat it was great. At the end, I wish I could have got the job done and added on but overall it was very good.

Will: Overall, really good night. Started off really well my first at bat, you know, I had the opportunity to add on, tack on more runs, but couldn't, so that's something I plan to work on.

Jose: Walker Buehler, what do you see from him and how much he needed to have something like this happen for you guys to go out there and pick him up with the runs?

Will: It's really tough to come back from a major injury and so kudos to Walker to be able to really put up a good outing and so I think it really brought some momentum on our side so that we were able to put up some good at bats for him.

Jose: On the base running side, the stealing base. You guys know a lot about Corbin Burns and how much were you able to exploit that and what was the information you got from him pregame to put into the game?

Will: 戦略的バーンズの盗塁のクセっていうのが勉強されたと思うんですけどもそれがどのくらい役に立ったのかと？

[Translation]: Strategically, Burnes steal bases habit you studied I think, how much did that help?

Shohei: ま、試合前にもちろん予習はしますしゲームの中で自分が見てもちろんコーチですけれども話し合いしながらお互いにこう皆んなに走塁が回ってくれればかなと思います。

[Translation]: We definitely prepare before the games. During the games we talk with the coaches about baserunning as the lineup goes around.

Will: It's really something we dealt with you know discussed as a team went through his tendencies obviously with myself, but also with the coaches, sharing the information with the teammates so that the entire team.will be able to exploit it.

Jose: Special night with your dog too. How much will you remember this considering that your dog will be attached to this night forever with you too?

Shohei: 僕も来た時にちょっとびっくりしたのでなんで、なんか違うイベントがあるのかなとは家族で一緒に来た時思いました。

[Translation]: When I came I was also surprised. I thought maybe they had a different event going on when I arrived with my family.

Will: I was surprised as well, when I came to the park with my family, I wasn't really aware of the situation. I thought there was some other special event going on.

Fabian Reporter: How many times have you guys practiced the first pitch?

Will: どれぐらい練習しましたか？

Shohei: 2、3週間やりました。一回ここにも来て予習もしましたし。はい。

[Translation]: Two or three weeks. We also came here to practice once.

Will: Two three weeks and we even did a dry run here at the stadium.
