Kirsten: Yoshi, when you look at this outing, it seemed like the home runs really are what got to you. Of course, a couple hits late in your outing, but those home runs specifically what were you seeing where they got to you?

Hiro: 3本のこのホームランに関してどういうふうに思われていますか?

Yoshinobu: まずは全体的にボールはまあ、いいボールは投げれている球が多かったのかなと思いますけど。ホームランのボールは長大になってしまうとこに失投したのはうまく打たれました。

Hiro: So overall, I think I was throwing pretty good pitches and then except the three pitches I mislocated and then it easy for them to hammer.

Kirsten: With how you started this game, that first inning has proven to be a little bit more challenging to start this year but with your efficiency and how you used your entire pitch mix, what was the focus for you in your first inning of work today?

Hiro: What was the first one? 

Kirsten: In the first inning. What was his focus was, being efficient using his full pitch mix to get good results?

Hiro: Because this year, you know, I tended to give up runs in the first inning early in the game. So during the practice, you know, because I was focusing on that issue and to fix it, make it.

adjustment and then today because I was able to follow up with a level of confidence. So in that sense, you know, I think the first inning was good.

Reporter: What is causing the home run rate in general this season?

Reporter: Any patterns over the course of the season? The homeruns?

Hiro: パターン化してるってありますかホームランを許すときのピッチングっていうのは？

Yoshinobu: うまく打たれたホームランもありますし自分が甘く投げて打たれたほうがありますし。ホームランは色々あると思います。

Hiro: So like I said, it depends on which home run you’re talking about. And then some home runs I allowed that were a mistake. You know, mislocation and then some home runs, kind of you have to tip your hat to the hitters.
