Will: There's been a lot of opportunities with runners on base and just you know, all I'm trying to do is have a quality at bat. So I think it's the result of that.

Reporter: Shohei, I think you talked a little bit last night about potentially the home run derby.

Just what are your thoughts on that and your position on potentially doing that?

Will: ま、ホームランダービに関して先ほど昨日にコメントあったんと思うんですけど改めて考えてホームランダービに関して考えありますか？

[Translation]: About the Homerun Derby, yesterday you made a comment, have you thought about participating in it?

Shohei: 昨日の今日なので。あんまり考えてないのですし。正式にいろんな人と相談して決めたいなと思っています。

Will: Hasn't really changed much since yesterday, it's something I have to talk to a lot of people about and make a decision.

Dave Vassegh: Shohei, how much does what you're doing in the last 10, 11 games come down to you trusting to allow the ball to travel deeper in the strike zone?

Will: 10,11試合打席の中でボールをもうちょっと深く捉えるっていうことっていうのは試みていうこと何ですか？

[Translation]: In the last 10,11 games, are you trying to catch the ball deeper in the zone?

Shohei: シンプルにストライクを振るっていうのがまあ一番ポイントだと思っているので。いいスイング、いい構えができている証拠じゃないかなと思います。

[Translation]: Simply, I try to swing at strikes is the number one point I think. Having a good swing and form is the proof of the success.

Will: Really my approach is to swing at strikes and just making sure that my posture and everything else is lined up.
