Kirsten: Shohei, I know we've talked a lot about just the offense as of late. How have you just as a leader of this group and stepping up especially when the offensive results have been a little bit limited as of late?

Will: チームのリーダー、リーダーとして最近打線なんですけども、何かそういう感じでありますか？

[Translation]: As the team’s leader, what is up with the batting lineup?

Shohei: ミーティングもいろいろ工夫していますチームとしてどう言う風に得点して行くん話しているんので。なかなかこういい形になっていかないというところで、もどかしを感じていると思いますいい形に持っていけれるように工夫しているので毎試合進歩はしているのかなと思います。

[Translation]: In the meetings we are trying to figure it out, how to get runs is something we are talking about. It hasn’t been going well and we feel that difficulty. In order to improve we are working everyday and making progress I think.

Will: We're cognizant as a team, we;re trying to address that having team meetings pretty much every day and individually we're trying to make adjustments so that we can score more runs and that's been happening everyday.

Reporter Dylan: Given Mookie's importance to the team, what were your thoughts when you saw him go down like that?

Will: チーム大事な存在でああいうケアっぽいものですけど、それ見てどう思いましたか？

[Translation]: An important presence in the team, how did you see it?

Shohei: チーム全体にとってはタフな瞬間ではあるだと思うので欠かせない選手だと思います。ただ起きたことは起きたと思います本人の早期開発を祈りながらチームとしてすぐカバ出来る頑張りたいと思います。

[Translation]: For the whole team it was a tough moment, he is a player you can’t do without. What happened has happened and praying that he comes back soon, everyone on the team has to cover his loss and work hard.

Will: It's very tough to see as a team, to see him. He's obviously a very important part of the team. If he's out for some time, then it's really up to he rest of the team to pick him up so that we can continue.

Reporter: With Glasnow pitching so well, how much do you want to go out there and pick him up with some offense like that?

Will: グラスノが凄くいいピッチングそれを見てなんか打線得点繋げたいと言う気持ちはありましたか？

[Translation]: Glasnow, reallly good pitching you see get runs for him do you feel?

Shohei: それは全員を思っていると思います。本当に相手のチームを見せ付けないそう言う素晴らしいピッチングだったかなと思います。

[Translation]: I think everybody thinks that. He did well to hold down the other team and pitched really great.

Will: He was really absolutely fantastic, really no threats throughout the game. So I think we all felt that we had to really pick him up this game.

Reporter Bill: You talk about adjustments, it seemed like you've been hitting the ball on the ground a lot lately, did you change something and make an adjustment to hit the ball in the air again?

Will: 最近ゴロが多かったと思います何がフォーム的に調整しましたか？

[Translation]: Recently, a lot of groundballs, something in your form you adjusted?

Shohei:そうですね、初めてのチームで初めてのこうコーチにまずはコミュニケーションが一番大事だと思いますので自分のバッテイングの感覚が外からどう言う風に見えてるのがまずコミュニケーションとりながらそれは毎日話し合って工夫していると思います。

[Translation]: Yes, it’s my first time on the team and first time working with the coaches and most important is communication. How do they see my batting from the outside. Most important is communication and we are talking everyday on how to fix it.

Will: I've been communicating with the hitting coaches in terms of what's happening on field versus how I'm feeling. So that's been a constant process.

Reporter Dylan: What does it feel like to get the ball that far?

Will: ああ言う風に遠く飛ばすのはどんな感覚でしょうか？

[Translation]: Hitting that far how does it feel?

Shohei: あそこの方向に飛距離が出ているのいい状態じゃないかなと思うのでいい気持ちいい感覚だなと思います。

[Translation]: In that direction with that distance coming out means I am in good condition and it feels good I think.

Will: Really good feeling. It's a really good sign that I'm being able to hit the ball that far in that direction.
