Reporter: Well Jake, you picked up your first career win. I mean obviously this was a very exciting one with that. What was just your reaction to seeing the offense come through at the end and knowing that this is going to be your first win?

Jake: I actually wasn't thinking about it. To be honest, but yeah, I was just pumped up and like, Shohei hit that double and like, you know, we walked it off, it was sick. So, yeah, I was just fired up.

Reporter: Coming out of the bullpen, what are you thinking? Where is your mind as you are looking  to kind of hold this game?

Jake: Just staying as relaxed as possible. I know I was gonna have a lot of adrenaline. So really just trying to breathe.Stay in the moment. Stay relaxed and just execute one pitch at a time.

Reporter: Did you get your velo up and you want to see it? Like what have you been working on?

Jake: Yeah, just, it was like some pretty simple stuff honestly with my lower half. Just like timing wise. I kinda… I used to kick my leg out backwards a little more and just kind of tighten that up when I got to OKC. The velo ticked up and just kind of sticking with those feelings and riding it out with that.

Reporter: So you've got the ball, what are you going to do with it?

Jake: I think my brother's gonna be coming out in a couple, in like a week or so. Probably give it to him to take home so I don't lose it.

Reporter: Fair.

Jake: Yeah. It’ll go somewhere in like a little collection.

Reporter: This is one of those moments I just, I mean thinking about your career hopefully it pans out.

Jake: Yeah, I mean. It's cool, it's cool.

Like, obviously going into the game, that's not where my head is at. I just come in to compete

But, yeah, it happened and yeah, fired up.

Reporter: Do you feel anything special like facing your former organization?

Jake: Not really. I faced them last year. So it's not my first time facing them, but I know a couple guys over there. So, I’ll shoot them a text later.
